What You Should Know about this Site PDF Print E-mail

1.   This site was created in January, 2007.

2.   It does not capture, share or sell your e-mail address.  You remain anonymous—unless you leave a comment or send an e-mail via “Contact.”

3.   There is no logging in and no membership.  You will not receive e-mails about future added site material; just revisit as you wish.

4.   If you place this site into your “Favorites,” that link will help the site’s image in the eyes of the big three search engines: Google, Yahoo and MSN—giving it a higher profile (I’m told).

5.   Every aspect of this site is copyrighted, whether specifically stated or not.

6.   Your visit will be more productive if you have DSL or cable—dial-up just cannot handle some of the graphics in the “Art Freebies” section and one math article.  Other sections should be okay.

7.   I do read other teacher and education sites—the competition.  (Did you know there are 18,000 lesson plan sites alone!?) Way too many seem boring, frivolous, overuse educational jargon (called educationese), copy-cat research language, and offer little concrete help to the educator—or student.  (Thankfully, a few sites are quite beneficial.)  I have found learning and teaching exciting and a tough row to hoe, which has forced me to be both creative and practical—thus the no-nonsense techniques, herein, as well as in my language arts book. I like the pleasure others receive when reading my writings, attending my seminars, telling me of their successes and, now, their perusing this handsome, clear and easy to navigate site, thanks to the creative, read-your-mind skill of the designer at http://www.mrstreamz.com/webdesign. (If clicking on this link doesn’t transfer you, hold down “Ctrl,” then click.)
